Damage Deposit

All renters must provide a damage deposit via credit card authorization, cashier's check, or cash. The deposit, typically between $2500 and $15k, varies by vehicle and insurance type. It's refundable after the rental. American Express is an authorization only; Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are charged and reversed later.
