June 17th, 2008 - Posted in The Cars by nlh | No Comments »
This is the big one we’ve been waiting for: Today we are pleased to announce the addition of the Saleen S7 supercar to the GDC fleet. This car defies so many parts of reality that we’re basically beside ourselves. It’s a 550hp, limited-production, $400,000 race car for the street. The most exotic looks of any vehicle we’ve driven and performance that not only matches but exceeds any expectations you could possibly have. Read below for the official press release…

Goodbye M5…Helloooooo Quattroporte.
April 30th, 2008 - Posted in The Cars by nlh | No Comments »
Well, all good things must come to an end, and today marks the completion of the BMW M5’s 2-year tour of duty with the GDC fleet. BUT, what fun would a goodbye ceremony be without a new arrival, and we’re pleased to announce that the fine guys over at at Ferrari/Maserati of Central New Jersey have helped us put Maserati #2 into the fleet. Presenting the stunning Maserati Quattroporte - a really terrific luxury sports sedan that drives as smoothly as it looks - tons of power (400 horses), plenty of room for the whole family, and sexy sleek curves that turn heads everywhere. Welcome aboard Maserati! (and yes, it’s the pure automatic - don’t worry!).

We’re pleased to announce the arrival of the awesome new 2008 Maserati GranTurismo to the GDC fleet. We custom ordered this car from the factory and our friends at Ferrari/Maserati of Central New Jersey made sure we got one of the first cars off the line. It’s a really excellent vehicle - Maserati has absolutely out-done themselves. Totally redesigned, a 400hp Ferrari F430-derived motor, and a near perfect blend of comfort and handling. Visit our Maserati GranTurismo rental page for more details.
Vehicles For Sale: Ferrari 360 Spider & Aston Martin Vanquish
January 9th, 2008 - Posted in The Cars by nlh | No Comments »
There comes a time in a great car’s life where all wonderful things must come to an end. Here at GDC, we aim to keep the cars in our fleet for a 2 - 3 year “tour of duty” — after that, it’s time to move them along to new homes and refresh our stock. For our 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider (having just been replaced by both a F430 Spider & a newer model year 360 Spider) and our 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish (about to be replaced by a brand new DB9 Coupe), that time has come.
However, this presents a rare opportunity for a new owner: Our vehicles have a lot of miles but have been meticulously maintained and are available at deep discounts. If you’ve driven either of these vehicles, you know how great they are and that these deals will not last long. Click below for details, pricing, and tons of photos…

Sorry, couldn’t contain myself there. Yes, it’s finally happened - 2 years in the waiti—er, making, and it’s been delivered. Brand spanking new (spec’d for us direct from the Ferrari factory.) Loaded to the gills with options. Carbon fiber everywhere. Carbon Ceramic brakes (they don’t stop on a dime - they stop on a pin-head!). Simply an outstanding, phenomenal car, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it to our clients. Photos below, more details on the F430 Rental Page. (Sorry NY’ers…it’s going to be in Florida until April, then it’s all yours…).

New Additions! DB9 Volante & Murcielago Roadster

With the first wisps of Fall in the air, we figured it was about time to do a little change-up on the fleet. So just in time for the year’s best driving weather (and those perfect afternoon cruises up to see the leaves change), we are proud to present the two newest additions to the Gotham Dream Cars Fleet…

Well, it finally happened — it got warm! Spring is here in the Northeast (or is it Summer?), and we decided to celebrate in the only way we know how — we went out and got a ton of new cars to share with our clients & members in the NY market.
Our First GTC Has Arrived!
February 1st, 2007 - Posted in The Cars by nlh | No Comments »
Ok, so the interior ended up being slightly different from what we ordered, but you don’t see us complaining - our first jaw-droppingly-hot Bentley Continental GTC has arrived! Florida gets it first, as it’s a tad bit warmer down there this time of year (if by ‘tad bit’ we mean 50 degrees warmer). But like the weather in Chicago, think of this as a preview of what to expect in New York in a few months … we’re good at sharing here at GDC. Ok, less banter, more pictures…
Florida Gets a Vanquish

So the other day, our good friend Marcello calls us up and says “Hey boys, have I got a deal for you…” Well, as these things go, one thing led to another, and sure enough we found ourselves lighter a few dollars and heavier one stunning black Aston Martin Vanquish for our new Florida location. So here she is, in all her glory…
Bentley Continental GTC(s): Ordered!
November 14th, 2006 - Posted in The Cars by nlh | 9 Comments »
So we stopped by to see our friends at Manhattan Motorcars yesterday and officially placed our order for not one, but a pair of 2007 Bentley Continental GTCs. Expected arrival time: This coming Spring ‘07 (not bad considering they’re sold out for the next 18 months). Like our color choices? Let us know!

New Shoes for the Murcie

Well, we couldn’t leave well enough alone with our awesome Murcielago — it was just missing that “special something” (how often do you hear THAT said about a $300k exotic car?). So we went out and got her a set of white-hot “Hercules” wheels…the style that was introduced when the Murcielago Roadster was released. We think it’s a pretty darn good upgrade. See for yourself (click on the images for bigger versions):
