Our friend and fellow Bullrun ‘06 driver Anabelle Frankl emailed us about a very cool luxury experience she’s organizing for the Monaco Grand Prix this May, so we figured we’d share.

• Rent a vehicle from our fleet of exotic supercars for at least one day during the week (M - Thu) or 2 days on the weekend (Fri - Sun) and we’ll throw in an additional day behind the wheel - completely free of charge.

That means if you were thinking of renting our Gallardo Coupe for a day during the week for $995, you can keep it for two days for the same $995 (yes, that means it works out to be around $495/day. For a Gallardo. Yep.) If you take our Ferrari F430 for the weekend for $2250, you can keep it a third day for that same rate. Taking a car for a week? Keep it for 8 days. Same deal.

Of course a few simple restrictions do apply - no free mileage on your free day, and this doesn’t apply to our premium vehicles such as the Range Rover or Mercedes S550, but otherwise, you’re good to go.  Note:  this offer is only valid through the end of February March 2010 (we extended it).  After that it’s back to normal.

This was in the works for a while but we’ve finally pulled the trigger — our brand-spankin’-new northeast clubhouse move is underway!  Our new digs are even newer, even cleaner, and even closer to Manhattan.  The shop is located in Englewood, NJ, about 5 minutes from the George Washington Bridge and less than 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan.  The move is in process but as soon as we’re finished, you can be assured we’ll have an open house (and, perhaps, a bikini car wash or two…)

We’re excited to join with the Young Survival Coalition again this year to present our 2nd annual ‘Drive for Charity’ run to Hershey Park.  The dates for this year’s drive are September 27th & 28th.  Last year’s run was a BLAST — we all caravaned out to Hershey, PA (the sight of the 20 exotics on the road was amazing!) and spent the night at the beautiful Hershey Lodge.  Of course there was plenty of roller coaster action during the  (and some ice cream action too…hey, it’s chocolate heaven…).  We’ve reserved a bunch of GDC cars for the event at special rates, and every rental includes free admission & a donation.  Details and full press release below…

Ok, we admit it.  We like to throw a party every once in a while, and this past Sunday we threw a great one.  The Bikini Car Wash is becoming an annual ritual here at GDC, and this year’s was the best ever.  We started the day with 40+ cars arriving at the clubhouse for a 3-hour “run” through the twisties of Bear Mountain.  After the drive, Matty cooked up his famous Mattyburgers and our wonderful bikini models gave dozens of slack-jawed guests’ rides a nice clean-up.  The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department even made a special visit and “cooled off” the situation.  Click below for a photo slideshow…

We’d like to extend an invitation to join us for the Gotham Dream Cars / Arena Motors Spring Open House.  The event will be taking place this upcoming Saturday, June 14th 2008.  This will be the first of several great events we’re planning this summer.  The schedule will be as follows:

9am - 11am - Breakfast & Run Prep
11am - 2pm - Group Drive (”Run”) to Bear Mountain
2pm - 5pm - Barbecue & Tech Inspection

Ok, so we got another new car in addition to the Quattroporte.  It’s serious.  It also has a blown transmission (aww.)  But it’s undergoing solid repair right now from our pals at Arena Motors.  This will be the most significant and amazing car we’ve ever put in our fleet, but we’re not going to give the details until it’s all ready to roll.  In the meantime, here are some teaser pics of the patient being operated on.  (BTW, we’re quite bad at keeping secrets, so a modest amount of snooping around the web will reveal what this new beast is.)

As if we needed any more distractions (beyond the 20+ exotic cars we see on a day-to-day basis), the wonderful folks over at the Virtual-E Corporation were kind enough lend us two of their uber-high-end VirtualGT Racing Simulators for a month.  WOW.  I though video games didn’t do anything for me and boy was I wrong — tons of fun.  We’ve been having a great time ripping around the Nordschleife in ‘08 Formula 1 cars (Marcello did the course in 6:31!).

So we’re trying an experiment. Call us crazy, but we’ve heard from lots of fans recently that they are dying to drive one of the vehicles from our fleet and would love a chance to do so at a reduced rate during off-peak times.

So here goes: For the month of February and only the month of February, all vehicles in the Northeast will be on sale for an incredible $995/day (max). You read correctly — that’s a flat rate for any vehicle, from the blissful Ferrari F430 to the luxurious Bentley Continental Flying Spur to the mighty Lamborghini Murcielago.
